Our mission is to grow each child in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in a nurturing, safe environment; equipping them for worship, service, evangelism, fellowship and discipleship.
Matthew 22:36-40; 28:19-20
Nursery (birth to 36 months) and Preschool We have a staffed nursery available every Sunday for Sunday school and Worship times and also during our Midweek program. Although the nursery is offered, children are always welcome to worship alongside their parents in our services.
Children’s Church For our preschool through Kindergarten children, we offer a class which allows for the transition from nursery to worship. All children are encouraged to participate with the congregation in corporate worship. Children ages 3 – Kindergarten are dismissed during the Doxology to their own class designed for them where they will participate in a Bible lesson and crafts.
Sunday School Children grades 1st – 6th we offer age appropriate Bible lessons
Discovery Club On Wednesday evenings our elementary age students join together for an age appropriate lesson, games and fun!
*All of our teachers, paid workers and volunteers undergo background checks and work alongside another teacher.
Creative Arts Camp – 6 years to rising 6th Graders come together for a main Bible lesson along with drama, dance, singing and art during the first week in June. At the end of the week, the children display all they have learned with a wonderful performance.
Gingerbread House Party – Often the best parties are ones where children are allowed to be creative. For many years it has been a Grace tradition for children (of all ages) to look forward to Christmas by gathering on the second Saturday of December to decorate home-built gingerbread houses.
Packing Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child – The children are reminded about giving to others as they fill shoeboxes for children around the world. During the worship service they participate in dedicating these boxes for use in God’s Kingdom.
